Riju, Chief of the Gerudo

We went into the Gerudo Canyon to find the Gerudo people beset by Gibdos, strange creatures that seem as much insectoid as they do undead, as well as the Sand Shroud, a huge sandstorm that makes navigation all but impossible.

Despite being beset by these dangers, the Gerudo clung to the old rule of no "voe" (men) anywhere in their shelter. Even though the Gerudo seemed amenable to talking to us given the circumstances, we still had to tail a Gerudo child to a hole in one of the houses to find the shelter. After falling in and clearing up misunderstandings with Buliara, the captain of the Gerudo guards, we had a talk with a few of the Gerudo who told us that Riju and Patricia were out training in the ruins north of town. While we could probably have gone on the surface to find her, we opted to take the connecting passage between the shelter and those ruins... solving puzzles and challenges along the way.

Here's to hoping that we see the fair lady, Riju, after doing all that.
