Hello it's JAIS STEUER Here with a new video:
I have been wanting to make this video for at least a couple of Months! I am finally here with News about my Gaming PC and what's going on with it and it's quite a long and fun story.
Note: VARIOUS SPOILERS BELOW
in August I was traditionally using MacOS but i slowly switched back over to Windows when I got into using VRChat which i couldn't run well with a HP Laptop. It has a Intel Core i5-7200U (2 Cores, 4 Threads) and Intel Integrated Graphics which could maybe get me 7-12fps in that game so i knew i had to get something better. So Late August i ordered a HP Prebuilt Tower PC and this would be the foundation for everything. Equipped with a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (8 Cores, 16 Threads) with Radeon Graphics. This could do much better wonders, but it was still missing something important, a Graphics Card. I made that my mission, and i almost got a RTX 4060 Ti 8GB just to not have it natively work. (But i temporarily got a 650W ATX Power Supply to power the card alone.) It worked and my desk was temporarily a mess, i ran this setup for about a month. Then i got a motherboard and some other components to put together a Spectacular Gaming PC and it has some pretty amazing specs! Building it was quite fun even with the challenges but i did everything well (besides the front cable management). Now i had a real gaming PC which i could run for now and upgrade down the line (which i did) because i looked into the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16 Cores, 32 Threads) and a AMD Radeon RX 6950XT 16GB Reference Graphics Card and these upgrades proved to be amazing for the stuff i plan on using this PC for: which include Games and Video Editing! This GPU also has an epic suprise of having a USB-C Port which can function as a Thunderbolt Display Output or Directlink for a VR Headset (Meta Quest, etc.). I obviously didn't go AM5 for specific reasons including DDR5 Ram Pricing and Now i have a Gaming PC I Plan on making Last for a While! (i'll clean it often don't worry.) But This PC runs Amazingly, accomplishing things i need without any struggle! Also best of luck for ram prices and the protogen’s out there, they are definitely feeling the impact of the ram shortage. And for anyone wondering Yes i do have a Support bracket for the beefy Graphics Card to prevent GPU Sag.
