A day after one of the longest odyssey of my life, I decided to take it a little bit easier given the circumstances. This branch is unique because it is the only branch that goes through Queens twice. However, most people usually won’t take the LIRR towards Far Rockaway because this branch does not run as many trains to Manhattan as the (A) Train does. (A) Trains typically run every 15 to 20 minutes from Far Rockaway while LIRR Trains usually go every hour. This branch typically serves the villages along the way to Far Rockaway, like Gibson or Hewlett. So yeah, join me as we take a journey along, possibly one of the more overlooked branches of LIRR.
