Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday. During the call, the Prime Minister discussed the current war situation in West Asia and reaffirmed India's commitment to continuing its efforts to restore peace. PM Modi strongly condemned all forms of attacks that result in the loss of innocent lives and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. Sharing details of the conversation on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister addressed the UAE President as "brother" and mentioned that he also conveyed advance Eid greetings to him and the people of the UAE. Both leaders reportedly agreed on the vital importance of ensuring safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz
