In the new Disventure Camp comic, we get a much deeper look into Diego and what he’s going through after the events of the season. Even though Diego is known for his confidence and physical strength, this story focuses more on his emotional state and how he’s dealing with the fallout from his relationship with Spencer.
In this video, I go over three key things the new comic reveals about Diego. From his past situation with Felipe, to the awkward aftermath of confessing his feelings on national TV, the comic shows a different side of Diego that we didn’t fully see during the season.
The story also explores how Diego struggles with communication and how his history of looking for approval from others affects the way he approaches relationships. By the end of the comic, Diego begins to realize that he may not be emotionally ready for a relationship right now, which could be an important step in his personal growth.
