Kapas Island is located around 6 km from the land in Terengganu, Malaysia. It's famous for white sand, clear water, diverse marine life with coral reef, and various activities to do such as scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, squid jigging, jungle trekking and hiking.
We booked the boat from Makcik Gemok Boat Service for day trip costs us RM40/person (Hiking package). It took approximately 1.6km one way trekking from Bukit Singa to the main part of the island. Some part requires walking in the water, some part climbing, so it is best to wear a proper sandal or shoes with dry bag. Don’t forget to take sunscreen and water to avoid dehydration.
