Описание: How to check the ignition wiring on a Yamaha RX King or RX Special, starting from the coil and CDI until it starts.
The first step is to check the wiring from the coil:
1. The black wire with a red stripe from the coil serves as the coil's power source, so it must have current.
2. The black wire from the coil serves as the coil's ground, ensuring it is connected to the motorcycle body.
3. The white wire with a red stripe or white stripe serves as the pulser. Ensure it has current flowing to the CDI. Check this with a used gasoline LED light.
4. The white wire supplies the charge to the rectifier.
5. The yellow wire with a red stripe supplies the light current to the rectifier.
The plain white wire and the yellow stripe have no connection to the ignition wiring.
The CDI wiring is as follows:
1. The black wire with a red stripe supplies the ignition current from the coil.
2. The white wire with a red stripe or white stripe serves as the pulser.
3. The white wire with the black stripe is the path leading to the ignition switch.
