This is the reservoir of the Lagoa Comprida hydroelectric power station. The crater itself stretches to a depth of 4.6 meters and a width of 48 meters. A tunnel more than 1500 meters long begins immediately below it. And the scary funnel is a mine spillway, where excess water goes and then ends up in the river.
