Over the past six months, I have analyzed three documentary films that make a different sound related to the general picture of kitesurfing, making them an alternative discourse within the kitesurfing sector. 🏄♀️💬
During this research I focused on mediaproduction and I was given the opportunity to do interviews with three authentic, female kitesurfers - @Jalou Langeree, Gretha Zijlstra and Elsien Zijlstra and director- and filmmaker Michael Zomer.
In conclusion I have a created a film to summarize the findings and show the importance of diverse representation and vulnerability in the (kitesurf) media. Thanks to those who supported me during this project. 🎞️
