The Heralds of the Gospel are celebrating with great joy the election and beginning of the pontificate of the new Successor of St. Peter, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, through a Solemn Eucharistic Celebration on May 20, at 6 p.m., in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, in Caieiras-SP
Today, it is undeniable that humanity is facing a wide range of crises, all of which have, as a common denominator, serious religious decadence.
As a result, the human race has never experienced such dramatic disorientation, since it doesn't know which direction to take in order to achieve true peace.
However, two thousand years ago, Jesus left a cornerstone on which He built His Church: the Chair of Peter.
His mission is to confirm the Flock of Christ in the true Faith (cf. Lk 22:32), and to lead it throughout history, without any doctrinal or moral deviation, to meet its Supreme Good Shepherd, who will return gloriously at the end of time.
For Catholics, contemplating the pure, fatherly figure of a Supreme Pontiff means having the full certainty of being on the right path, which leads to perfect harmony between human beings on earth and, above all, to eternal salvation in Heaven.
