Brotox for the 11's (aka glabella or frown lines)

Brad’s wife will tell you he uses those eyebrows to entertain/frighten nieces and nephews. The benefit of having strong forehead muscles… the downside is that our skin often creates lines that stay even after the forehead has relaxed. This is where Brotox (botox) comes in. Botox will block signals from nerves to contract muscles. So, less scrunching means less wrinkling.
You’ll see that Brad can still do some forehead acrobatics and express himself, but the forehead shows much more relaxation and a more rested look.
Some other things to avoid after a Botox treatment are blood thinning medications or alcohol because they lead to bruising. And, it may seem obvious, but don’t schedule a face massage within 8 hours after.
Brad would like to share that he did have a headache for several days after, but was able to treat it easily with Tylenol. This is not atypical for a first time botox user. We encourage all patients to understand the risks of Botox, just like they would any other drug.
