This highlights video captures special moments from my two-day traditional dowry (bride price) payment ceremony, which was held in Mazeras, Mombasa on 7th and 8th November 2025. The ceremony brought together family members, relatives, and close friends from both sides to witness and celebrate this important cultural milestone in our marriage journey.
The event followed Rabai & Kikuyu traditional customs and practices, including the formal introduction of families, traditional negotiations, blessings from elders, and the symbolic presentation of the dowry. These moments reflect the deep respect for family values, unity, and cultural heritage that define such ceremonies.
