The Fix

We follow #MayaTravis [Robin Tunney: The Mentalist, Prison Break], an L.A. prosecutor who moved to rural Washington for a quiet life after unsuccessfully prosecuting an A-List actor, #SevvyJohnson [Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje: Suicide Squad, Lost] for a high profile double-homicide case. Fast forward 8 years, and the same movie star is suspected of another murder and Maya is back for redemption. She has a new opportunity to win following her previous devastating failure.

This new legal drama is produced by #MarciaClark [Pretty Little Liars, O.J.: Made In America]. Marcia Clark taps into her own experiences as the lead prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson murder case, and describes the series as “One part revenge fantasy, one part soap. A thriller that has a legal case, but it’s a law show that’s not at all about the law as we almost never go to court. It’s what happens on the outside, and it’s all about the power dynamics, the love interest, the rivalries and everything that goes on behind the scenes that you never get to see with prosecutors and defence attorneys.”

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje described the show as “a dynamic crime thriller that leaves you on the edge of your seat as to who did it.” Adewale plays the part of Sevvy Johnson who is a beloved and extremely wealthy movie star who is under suspicion of this murder case… but did he do it?

Ezra Wolf [Scott Cohen: The 10th Kingdom, Love & Other Drugs] is the defense attorney for Sevvy Johnson. He represented Sevvy at the previous murder case where he succeeded, and he isn’t afraid to play dirty.

Matthew Collier [Adam Rayner: Tyrant, Hunted] is an assistant DA who appoints Maya as the lead of the murder investigation.

CJ Emerson [Merrin Dungey: Alias, Big Little Lies] is an investigator for the DA’s office.

Alan Weist [Breckin Meyer: Road Trip, Clueless] is the Los Angeles District Attorney.

River Allgood [Marc Blucas: Knight And Day, Buffy The Vampire Slayer] is Maya’s boyfriend from Washington who wants Maya to leave her past in the past.

Loni Kampoor [Mouzam Makkar: The Exorcist, The Vampire Diaries] is a Deputy District Attorney and the lead on the murder case.

Gabriel Johnson [Alex Saxon: Nancy Drew, The Fosters] is Sevvy’s stepson.
