TOP-DOWN TEE AND TOP-DOWN SWEATER IN BIG COTTON YARN
The tee and sweater are worked in the round from the neck to the armholes, then stitches are placed on hold for the sleeves while the body is worked in the round to the bottom edge. When the body is complete, the sleeves are worked in the round to the cuff.

NEEDLES:
Size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32'' (80 cm) in length
Size US 19 (15 mm) circular needles 32'' (80 cm) in length
GAUGE: Stockinette on size US 19: 7 sts/4", 10 rows/4". 1x1 rib on size US 17 8 sts/4’’, 10.5 rows/4’’. This sweater is knit in the round so your gauge swatch for stockinette stitch should also be knit in the round - usually knitting stockinette stitch in the round results in tighter tension since there are no purl rows.
