Описание: Construction Management Assistant Professor Afshin Pourmokhtarian talks about Wentworth’s top-ranking construction management degree and its hands-on approach. He gives an example of the courses he teaches. In Plan Reading, which is basically the language of construction management, you start with the basics--the units of measurements and how to extract the information from those drawings. You then move on to an estimating course, which builds upon reading those plans, marking up all the drawings and introducing advance software, such as BlueBeam, which you are likely to use in the professional world. He also teaches other courses including safety and risk management to seniors, which leads to students graduating with 30 hours of OSHA 30 credits, with some employers offering a bonus for those credits.
