I have tried a few vices on my mill but found they were lacking in one way or another until I tried this 70mm wide toolmakers vice. the main advantage being the precision and the lack of jaw lift. But it was a little frustrating to use when you couldn't see where in the small range of adjustment you were.
so I set about changing that and now it is a joy to use.
