Second Birth is Gravy Train's third album, released in 1973. In 1973, Gravy Train moved from Vertigo to Dawn Records, the progressive offshoot of Pye Records. This produced Second Birth — eight tracks, two of which ("Strength of a Dream" and "Tolpuddle Episode") were released as a single. PA: "This is Gravy Train, and I like this album even more than it's predecessor and successor. By the way, second part (instrumental) of title track is one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard. And such raisin is present on all GT albums" (Wiki, Discogs, Prog Archives)
