Kayaking the Rio Grande | Big Bend National Park Texas

Описание: Kayaking the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park was an interesting adventure. The water levels were pretty low in Santa Elena Canyon at this time of year. We ended up getting stuck a few times, and had to get out and drag our kayaks around the areas with super low water and faster moving rapids. Big Bend National park is located in southern Texas on the international border of Mexico!

In order to Kayak anywhere in Big Bend National Park you are required to have a permit as well as an extra life jacket and paddle.We obtained our permit and rented the extra equipment from Desert Sports. We went to every outfitter in Terlingua and Desert Sports was the most helpful.
