What is a callback function, and how is it different from a Promise?
A callback is just a function you pass into another function to be called later — usually after something finishes. For example, after loading data or reading a file.

But callbacks can get messy, especially when they’re nested — that’s called “callback hell.”

A Promise makes this cleaner. Instead of passing a function directly, you use .then() to say what should happen after something is done. Promises are easier to read and chain.

So — both handle async tasks, but Promises make it more manageable.
