On the day I finished this film, July 6, 2025, Bread and Puppet folks, admirers of Meredith, and the huge and wonderful B&P Band processed exhuberantly to the Pine Forest, where an area had been set up to honor her legacy on July 6, 2025. A number of colleagues and friends spoke eloquently. Deep appreciation for Meredith's life and brilliant cinematography and innovative animations was evidenced later in a film program given by Emily.
For Meredith in Memoriam is a prelude to this Memorial Celebration, two minutes and 48 seconds long, it is composed of photos and a video taken at Meredith's house in the previous week, her flower garden in bloom, her deck, her river, her view across it, in East Hardwick, Vermont, and scored by my piano/raga.
