In order to encourage Adi Dravidar, Scheduled Tribes, Christian Adi Dravidar students to pursue postgraduate and doctoral research studies in educational institutions abroad, the scheme is implemented. To avail scholarship under this scheme, the annual income limit of the parent /Guardian should not exceed Rs.8.00 lakh. 10 students are selected and given scholarship upto Rs.36.00 lakh per annum depending on the country and course of study. The scholarship is awarded to students who are admitted to the top 1000 institutions ranked by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in the Global Ranking of Institutions. Further, only one person from a family can avail scholarship under this scheme. Moreover, students are given coaching through TAHDCO, for clearing the qualifying exams such as TOEFL / IELTS/ GRE / GMAT a prerequisite for getting admission in most of the educational institutions abroad.
