Описание: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has submitted a detailed memorandum to Prime Minister Modi seeking urgent central assistance for flood-hit areas.

The state faced one of its worst flood calamities in decades, with the highest May rainfall in over 100 years followed by intense monsoon spells that devastated farmland and infrastructure. Karnataka has already exhausted its SDRF fund of ₹984.42 crore.

The state seeks ₹614.9 crore under Rescue & Relief and ₹1,521.67 crore under Recovery & Reconstruction from the NDRF to restore livelihoods, infrastructure, and agricultural losses.
