"Most Glorious Lord of Life" is a setting of some verses by the Elizabethan poet and playwright Edmund Spenser. It is number 68 in his 'Amoretti' (little love poems), which start by expressing his love for his beloved; move to his joy at their marriage; and progress to expressions of the love of God.
The setting is by Sir William Henry Harris.
It is performed here by The Choir Of Christ Church St Laurence, Sydney.
