Making a cake in STEAMER.
Ingredients:
Eggs - 4 (ROOM TEMPERATURE)
Vinegar - 1 tspn
Sugar - 120 gm
Salt - 1/2 tspn
Baking Soda - 1 tbsn
Vanilla Essence - 1 tbsn
All purpose flour - 120 gm ( 1 tablespoon is about 20 gm; 6 tbsn of 20 gm= 120 gm )
Oil - 3 tbsn
Milk - 3 tbsn
Method:
Take a cake tin or stainless steel flat vessel, spread butter then dust all purpose flour in it.
Take a bowl, separate egg yolk from eggs. Then add 1 tspn of vinegar with egg white. Beat well with an egg beater. Slowly add sugar and beat well until it gets foam. Later add egg yolk, salt, baking powder, vanilla essence, mix well. then slowly add all purpose flour, mix well. Finally add oil and milk, mix well until it turns to batter.
Pour the batter in the cake tin. Tap the tin. Preheat the steamer with water. Place the cake tin in it. Cook in medium flame for 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes it get baked.
Remove cake from the tin after 15 minutes.
