Mitsubishi's Double Clamp SXZC type tool is designed for finish spherical profiling and face turning. Mitsubishi's SXZC type profiling system allows a single tool to finish profile a 300-degree sphere and perform standard turning operation. Ideal for the precision ball or stud industry, the unique design of the SXZC type tool is also capable of finish turn and face relief operations commonly found in face grooving applications.

The SVX breaker geometry design provides efficient chip control in a range of cutting conditions while your choice of PVD coated VP15TF or CVD coated UE6020 will deliver the tool life expected from Mitsubishi Carbide in a range of materials. SVX inserts are available in .008", .016", and .031" Tool Nose Radius (TNR).
