Today is a Saturday and I thought to go out and enjoy a little bit this weekend for a change with two other friends of mine. So I left the office at 01.30 in the afternoon to go to La La Park near Diyatha Uyana.

There were plenty of mesmerizing locations for us to capture beautiful pictures. We first entered Diyatha Uyana. Diyatha Uyana is a weekend market including an open food court, stalls, an aquarium, jogging tracks, shopping stalls, boat rides, and boat restaurants.

You may easily find many kinds of flower plants, vegetable plants, seeds, fertilizers, and any equipment or tool that is required for home gardening from the Diyatha Uyana market area.

We had our lunch from the food court in Diyatha Uyana and after lunch, we went to find the way to LaLa Park.

We had to cross Diyawanna Lake by boat which cost 50.00 LKR per person to reach LaLa park. Before LaLa, Park we can see the Diyatha station which has been created using old train compartments. The old train compartments have been re-created as restaurants now. We stopped at Diyatha station for a few minutes as it started to rain heavily. A person was kayaking and enjoying Diyawanna Lake despite the rain.

After a few minutes, the rain stopped then we reached LaLa Park. The ticket prices in LaLa park as of 3rd September 2022 were as per below.

Entrance Fee - 100 LKR
Carnival - 200 LKR
Mini Viking Ship - 400 LKR
Mini Jumper - 500 LKR
Merry go Round - 500 LKR
Bumper Car - 600 LKR
Viking Ship - 600 LKR
Euro Jump - 700 LKR

After enjoying LALA park we stopped at Diyatha Station to drink some milkshakes on our way back home and it was raining heavily when we were returning.

That's the sum up of one of my well-spent Saturdays.
