Dundee were relegated from the SPL after being held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Aberdeen at Dens Park. Jim McAlister's excellent opener gave John Brown's men the lead at half time and when Rory Fallon saw red for the visitors in the second half the Dark Blues appeared to be heading towards a fourth straight win, but Peter Pawlett was fouled in the box by Lewis Toshney and Niall McGinn scored the equaliser to condemn Dundee to Division One.
