NOTE: The "Ratio" button is now in the "Align" menu! The word "ratio" is shown in that area when two gears are selected. When other elements are selected, the text describes the numbers that appear in the text box above it.
A tutorial that attempts to explain how gears and chains work. Pulleys and belts, or sprockets and chains; they all work about the same way in the Linkage simulator.
