Upgrade PS3 to 500GB, 1TB or even 1.5TB Hard Drive without using BRACKET

Описание: In this video I will show you how to upgrade a PlayStation 3 12GB Slim to a 500GB Slim. Now the only thing you will going to need for this is a plastic membership card (like I am using in the video) or a credit-card, and don't use the one from your parents or the one from your girlfriend because when you are done with this install you wont be able to use the credit-card ever again. That being said, if your girlfriend is already spending to much then this guide will help you solve that issue in less then 10min :-)

Sony does offer a HDD caddy, bracket (whatever you wanna call it) package. I think its about 10 euro's and I think its pretty much the same in US Dollars. Seeing am dutch and we don't like to pay more then we have to I have a trick to install a 500GB,1TB. Some stated they have succesfully installed a 1,5TB 2.5"drive in a PS3 Slim but that seems to be the max.

Apart from a credit-card you will need a harddisk, any 2,5" will do ranging from 5400 to 7200rpm, it will even work with SSD's. I tried 500GB HDD 5400rpm and a 120GB SSD and the install is exactly the same, the SSD is just a wee bit faster :-)

Make sure you watch this video closely and follow the instruction carefully, I will not be responsible for any damage which may occur if you decide to do this install on your own PS3, so if you decide to do this, do this at your own risk.

Then again if you have a brain the size of a cow you will get this done in under 10min easy, just like me.
