In December 2021, UNESCO included Kolkata's Durga Puja in its Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage. It is the biggest festival of Kolkata & West Bengal.
In this vlog we have tried to cover the essence of Durga Puja both in Rajbari and Barowari style for you.
We went to Kumartuli to see how Durga idols are made. Also went Princep Ghat to watch the rituals of Pitripaksh on Mahalaya. Did Pandel hoping on panchami, sashti, saptami, astami & nabami. And seen Bisarjan on dashami in Durgapur barrage. Had Kolkata street foods too.
