Electronics production has nearly sextupled, and exports have grown eightfold. Manufacturing of various electronics, including mobiles, laptops, servers, and routers, has started in India, with components like tempered glass covers for mobile phones now being produced domestically. This plant's inauguration will annually produce about 25 million tempered glass covers, previously imported. This step-by-step value addition is fostering a comprehensive electronics ecosystem across the country, employing about 2.5 million people in the electronics manufacturing sector.
