Malai Tikka Pulao
Ingredients for Malai Tikka:
Chicken leg and thigh piece 3-4
Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt 1 cup
Green chili paste 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Black pepper crushed 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin seeds (crushed) 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Nestlé MilkPak Dairy Cream 1 cup
Oil 3 tbsp
Water 1/2 cup
Heated coal 1 piece
Oil (for smoke) 1/2 tsp
Ingredients for Pulao:
Oil 3 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Black peppercorns 1 tbsp
Black cardamom 2-3
Cinnamon stick 1-2
Salt 1 tbsp
Chicken stock 5 cups
Soaked rice 3 cups
Directions for Malai Tikka Preparation:
In a bowl add chicken, Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt, green chili paste, black pepper crushed, salt, cumin seeds crushed, lemon juice, Nestlé MilkPak Dairy Cream and mix it well. Marinate for 25-30 mins.
In a pot heat oil and add marinated chicken. Cook for 3-4 mins.
Add water and cover and cook until chicken is fully done.
Now turn off the flame, please heated coal in an aluminum cup in the center. Drizzle oil on it and cover the pot with lid again. Let it smoke for 1-2 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Pulao Preparation:
In a pot, heat oil and add onion. Cook until light brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, salt and cook for 1-2 mins.
Add chicken stock and mix it well. Add soaked rice and cook until 80% water dries out.
Now cover and steam over low flame for 10-12 mins.
Your Pulao is ready. Serve it with Malai Tikka and enjoy.

Cooking time: 30-40 mins
