There are many interesting facts that we could discuss, but the MOST interesting to me is the story of Columbia, America's original goddess. What I was extremely surprised about was how prevalent this goddess was throughout American history since it's founding in 1776! The more I looked into her history, the more I thought she was the perfect theme for our Fourth of July special. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed learning about this long forgotten, but super important, portion of our US history.
