Hi, everyone. Aidan here with etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at this TireMinder RV AIR Compressor. This is gonna be a portable air compressor unit that you clamp onto the battery terminals on your vehicle, your motor home, whatever you have on hand. And it gives you a 60-foot air hose that you can go and take around to all your tires and air them up. Capable of a max pressure of 150 PSI.

So, good for your larger motor homes, but also your trailers too. Let's check it out. So, let's go through the process of setting this up and inflating your tires, but also go through the pieces in the kit. So, obviously you've got the compressor. The main unit here is what you're gonna hook up to and use to operate it.

Plus there's a screw-on filter that you could remove and that'll just need to be installed for, before you're using it. And it does come with a short braided steel cable that you can quick connect onto the end right there. And the braided steel here is for heat dissipation before it gets to the main hose. But right away, one thing I noticed outta the box is that these just rubber pieces don't stay on very well. It just makes the overall construction feel subpar in my opinion.

Honestly, I'd probably just take it off if it we inchesre mine, but it's just something to be mindful of as you're operating it. Some of these touch points, they're not the nicest feeling. And what I will do now as well is attach the air hoses, the main length of them that is. It comes in two 30-foot sections. So if you only need 30 feet of length, just use the one section.

But if you need that full 60-feet, grab the second one and just join it in with the two. And now, you've got 60 feet of available hose. At the end of the hose, you've got the inflator and the gauge with that same quick connect style, and this is how you would inflate or if need be, deflate your tires a bit and what will actually hook up to the valve stem. But with everything connected, let's take this to the back of our trailer and see how long we can get this to stretch. Again, we've got 60 feet hose. It's a coiled hose, so in my experience it's not always gonna give you exactly 60 feet. I mean sure you could stretch it out, but in the case of our travel trailer today, it's not the biggest trailer in the world, but I can very comfortably reach the back tires. If I needed to, I could stretch it quite a bit more and get well past the end of my trailer, although it would be a little bit of a stretch. So, that's just something to keep in mind. If you've got a bigger trailer, this should work out pretty well for you. And again, keep in mind that we are coming from the engine bay of our truck. So we've got the whole length of the truck plus all of the trailer that we're stretching through. I'd say it's a good amount of length to have. And before we hook up to our tire and start inflating, we need to hook up to our battery. Again, with these clamps, they've got these just plasticky rubber covers on them that just kind of fall off out of the box. One of ours actually just wasn't on at all and I have to put it back in place. Again, it just makes it feel really low quality. But the clamps feel like they have a pretty good bite to 'em, so shouldn't be too bad there. I'll connect to our positive and then to our negative. (engine whooshing at distance) (wire thumps) And we can flip the switch and turn the compressor on. Now, ours was already on so we're not getting a whole lot out of it, but it inflated pretty quick and it was also pretty quiet. So for reference, that switch is just on the side. And with it on, we can go to our tire, hook up and inflate. For hooking this up, it's pretty standard. It just threads onto the valve stem. So, I'll take our cap off, thread this on. (air hissing) And right here we're seeing that we're reading out at around 65-66 PSI. So the display is pretty dim, so you might not be able to see it super well. But let's go over the controls. This button on the side, (air hissing) will let air outta the tire. (air hissing) So, I'm gonna lower that down to about 64. And this trigger here, (air hissing) will put air into the tire. And as I do that, I can hear the compressor up front kick on, but it's super quiet. So, we're really not getting a lot of noise there, which is great. It's easy to operate. And with a 1.8 CFM, it's got pretty good flow so it inflates pretty
