Episode six of a series asking a simple question: how far can I push the humble sausage roll? Black Pudding
Ingredients:
400g Sausage meat.
Black Pudding
Ready Roll Puff Pasty
Black Pepper
Egg + milk (for wash)
Method for experimental rolls:
Preheat oven to 200c/400f.
Dice and Fry half your black pudding.
Divide sausage meat equally into bowls.
Add cooked black pudding to one bowl and uncooked the another.
Add black pepper each bowl.
Mix.
Cut pastry into squares or rectangles.
Make sausage shapes from meat and roll up.
brush egg wash on top.
Bake for approx. 25 minutes
