The Project:
A customer needed a 250-foot crushed limestone driveway to access a new barn being built in their backyard. This video showcases how we take a project from raw sod to a functional, finished driveway using the mini skid steer and a variety of professional attachments.

Pro-Tip: Edging without the Expense
Watch how I use the Power Rake (Harley Rake) to excavate and edge the driveway. By creating a professional, rounded edge with the soil conditioner, we can contain the stone perfectly without the need for expensive plastic or metal edging. It’s a great way to give your driveway a crisp, finished look on a budget!

Stone Specs & Technique:
For this light-duty driveway, we used #53 crushed limestone with dust at a 4-6" depth.

Pro Tip: If you are building a driveway for an RV or Heavy Equipment, I recommend excavating 8" deep, starting with a #2 stone base (3-4" size), and capping it with #53 or #8 stone for a premium finish.
