Microwave Caramel Popcorn Using a Brown Paper Bag

Super easy microwave popcorn in a bag. Use microwave popcorn or regular popcorn.
Recipe:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt (do not use with microwave popcorn)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (optional)
10 cups of popped popcorn (3/4 cup raw popcorn)
Optional: M&Ms, nuts, mini marshmallows, or chocolate chips
Microwave first 4 ingredients for one minute on full power, stir, then microwave another minute. Stir until well mixed.
Put popcorn in a brown paper bag.
Pour caramel sauce on popcorn and shake well. Microwave for 90 seconds, shake well, and microwave for another 90 seconds.
Add additional flavoring ingredients of choice. Shake well. Pour on waxed paper or greased cookie sheet.
