In the 1970s there was a company in the Canberra region of Australia that was installing 100 % pure Brown asbestos (amosite) into the roof cavities, walls and subfloor of homes as insulation. There has been an initial clean up of this product in the 1990s then again in the early 2000s it was deemed these Mr fluffy homes were unsafe to live in and all have been condemned.
