When five young boys from the small town of Denny decided to go carol singing, they didn’t expect to become a global sensation.
Jack Campbell, Dylan Thompson, Cameron Bourne, Liam Phillips, and Ollie Shearer were being “typical boys” hanging out in their local streets near the town centre on Saturday.
“We were just walking about the town and this idea just came to mind, ‘We should go carol singing’,” Dylan told STV News.
They belt out Wham’s number one hit Last Christmas with some local flair and Dylan signs off, “Bye, love you”.
At around 4.30pm, they visited Erin Chalmers’ home while the mum-of-two was at work and her husband had taken their kids to football.
The lads, who are all ten or 11 years old, rock up the driveway, triggering the motion detection on Erin’s Ring doorbell and capturing a video that has been watched more than 1.4 million times.
