Today, we are leveling up some classic core exercises by incorporating a stick and an anchor point, thereby creating a greater challenge to maintain stability and control.

As we perform bird dog and plank variations, you'll quickly be able to feel areas you want to have engagement. By adding the stick and a bit of movement or rotation, you become more aware of what muscles need to be working. Then, if you go back to performing the bodyweight versions of these exercises, you'll notice greater activation in those stabilizing muscles!
