Iran plane crash: Report says plane caught fire before crashing, airliner tried to return to airport

Описание: The crew of a Ukrainian jetliner that crashed in Iran, killing all 176 people on board, never made a radio call for help and were trying to turn back for the airport when their burning plane went down, an initial Iranian investigative report said Thursday.

Initial findings showed that the Boeing 737-800 appeared to veer back to the airport after moments of taking off from Tehran airport.

A 45-person Ukrainian investigation team is headed to the crash scene today and said they are not ruling anything out when it comes to the cause of the crash, which can include a mid-air collision, missile strike, or terrorism.
