The Arcade | Contemporary Commercial Workspace in Kochi | Adaptive Reuse Architecture

Описание: Designed by Lykke Architecture Studio, The Arcade transforms a former residence into a contemporary commercial workspace in Kochi.

Led by Architects Geevarghese Shiby and Jinu Punnooran, the project explores openness, natural light, and material-led zoning to create a fluid and efficient work environment.

Instead of relying on rigid partitions, the design uses flooring as a primary element to define movement, work zones, and spatial hierarchy. A refined palette of textures, wooden finishes, and grey vitrified surfaces brings clarity, continuity, and functionality to the space.

This adaptive reuse project demonstrates how thoughtful design can reshape existing structures into modern, purposeful workplaces.
