Past Participle (PP), L 15 PME
Two suffixes (ta, na) can be added to the verbal base or root.
Some roots ending in ‘d’ and ‘r’ take the suffix ‘na’.
(i)ta =ita, ta (i)na = ina, na
2) Main point for simple sentence.
1.Passive past participle: obj=Nom , agent= instrumental.
2. Active Past participle: Sub= Nom, Object= acc
Past participle (pp) has to be agreed with the subject/object in gender, case and number. (gcn)
However, when the sentence is complex sentence. sometimes case might change from nom to acc, vice-versa.
