This seems to be widespread. Please share this video as I was honestly frustrated that my new drive wouldn't connect or be recognized. This seems to be a widespread manufacturing error for this type of PNY drive (PNY Technologies). Resulting in you not getting anything on OSX (Mac) or error messages on Windows ("PC")
These are the most known problems, although there can be multiple reasons and warrants for it to happen to you.
1. Windows 7 “USB Device Not Recognized” Error.
2. OSX "Nothing happens" Nothing pops up in disk utility.
