During Martin Luther King Jr. Week, I had the honor of presenting the Art in Justice / Art as Justice workshop alongside Kate Loughlin at the Loomis Chaffee School. In this session, I shared my perspective on the intersection of art and social justice as an Iranian woman and artist, exploring how creative practice can be a tool for reflection, empowerment, and advocacy.
This workshop coincided with my solo exhibition, My Heart Is Tight For You, on display at The Sue & Eugene Mercy Jr. Gallery in Windsor, CT, where I further examine themes of memory, identity, and resilience through my artistic practice.
