COVID-19: DSTA designs adjustable, reusable face shields

A protective face shield has been developed to give frontline workers extra protection in the battle against COVID-19. FaceProtect+ consists of a visor that has an adjustable frame that caters to everyone, including those wearing glasses. It was developed by engineers from the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and they are looking to supply it to organisations such as the defence and manpower ministries. The makers of the shield said it is also more resilient for outdoor use in windy conditions, and easy to maintain.
