This recipe for quick & easy whipped feta puff pastry tart, is the perfect appetizer or party food. Ideal for a quick summer savory snack.
The whipped feta spread compliments perfectly the cherry tomatoes in top. It's also a very versatile recipe, since you can add your own favorite toppings and create your own whipped feta puff pastry tart. :) Kali Oreksi!
The ingredients:
400g (1 sheet / 14oz), puff pastry*
250g (9oz), feta cheese
90g (3/4cup / 3oz), mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves, cut in half
1tbsp (15ml), extra virgin olive oil (and a little more to drizzle before baking)
2tsp, balsamic vinegar
1 ½ tsp, chili flakes
1 ½ tsp, dry oregano or dry thyme
¼ tsp, black pepper
350g (about 10pcs / 12oz), cherry tomatoes, cut in half
*If you using frozen store-bought puff pastry, make sure to thaw it, by removing it from the freezer 2 hours before using it.
