【Ender Lilies】Bloom - Intro (Piano Arrangement)

Today marks a special day.
Bloom Intro had been requested time and time again over the years, so having finally uploaded a video of it truly is a milestone.
Except it's not a 1:1 transcription (it's a violin solo piece after all), but a complete piano arrangement that has forged its own identity.
I hope my admired composer will forgive me this trespassing.

For a long time, I had this envisioned in my mind.
Bloom Intro, but for piano. From the beginning it was clear to me that I wanted more than just a simple transcription of the violin piece.
But I never found my way into it, and so the idea was just sitting there somewhere in the back of my head.

Then, a few days ago, when I finished a completely unrelated transcription, somehow I went back to my unfinished Bloom Intro transcription.
And this time, it clicked and I spent the rest of the day (and night) on transcribing and arranging.
I feel like during the process part of my soul was poured into it.

Typically, I am rather self-critical and after a while, I cannot stand listening to the piece I work on any longer.
But this project, even during the process when it was only partially finished, I looped it time and time again.
I don't know how to word this, I simply experienced something every time I listened to it again (JUST GO TO SLEEP ALREADY).

Then for the next 2 days, I started working on the sheets and fine-tuned the arrangement in tandem.

And now, here we are.
I hope you can enjoy this arrangement - it certainly means a lot to me.

My love for Ender Lilies has been re-ignited and I am also working on more Magnolia pieces so look forward to that!
