We stayed at a great site right on Rockhouse Creek. 36.012656, -81.780411 It was the first one we saw and was late already so didn't go any further. I did scout out a few more sites further down the road that I could see from Google Maps but didn't get the chance to explore them.
This site is a walk in that sits right between the TransAmerica Trail and Rockhouse Creek. We were able to get our truck camper level in the parking spot and hung out at the campfire below. There is room for a couple of tents and great access to the creek. Enjoyed it and will be back to check out the other sites.
