Описание: This original Song was written by Patrick Michael Karnahan of the Black Irish Band. This song can be found on the album- "Wildland Firefighting Songs" as well as their landmark album- "Into the Fire". Patrick is a retired wildland firefighter with 22- seasons with the United States Forest Service. When he was not fighting fires, Patrick did campfire programs for campers. One of his favorite stories was about how Smokey Bear was found in New Mexico. This song was inspired by the true story of Smokey Bear. At the end of the music video you will see Ranger Patrick with Smokey Bear at a campfire program.

The footage provided in this video was given to Patrick in 2005 by the United States Forest Service, in celebration of the agencies 100th Anniversary in Washington D.C. James Dean Nelson- (Black Irish Band), is featured on the lead vocal. Both band members had the honor to perform the song live for the first time at the Kennedy Center in Washington D. C., on July 2nd, 2005.
